price of electricity is up by a whopping 21% with effect from tomorrow. in other words, our bills are going to be raised another 21%. so heres another reason to fuck singapore. everything in singapore is overpriced.. except bangalah labour, which is exploitation in my opinion.

as marcus told me, original games here in singapore has a price tag 5 times bigger than in the US. and they want us to support original(quote from marcus) a game cost 109 here and 20 in the US. simply dont make sense. it has to be taken into consideration.. whether the real motive here is to encourage the support of original goods, or are they just using 'support original' to greatly increase their own profits.

read the paper a few months ago. headlines quote " SINGAPORE NOT AFFECTED BY FOOD SHORTAGE" so why are our foods still increasing in price? the worst is, they're using food shortage as their reason. as i witnessed at Sakae sushi whereby the price of their conveyor belt plates doubled "due to food shortage"

it seems the government gives no regard toward the those with mediocre financial background. they just keep raising and raising and raising. and quoted by jia rong. ' prices increasing, standard of living increasing, shouldn't pay be increasing too? no! in fact, its decreasing! inverse proportions.'

this is how singapore works. in math terms: pay is inversely proportional to prices and standard of living. theres a twist however. when pay is the one increasing, then P&SoL GREATLY increases. in short, it becomes directly proportional. i forot the formulae.

i'd show you if i remembered. LOL.

as i said before, its a blessing to be born in singapore, but a curse to have to be shackled to her. migration for the win.

sobs. my com has officially died. totally unusable now. string of unfortunate events. how very... unfortunate. first got that msn virus from dont know who and dont know how either.. then was this fake divX thing. ask me DL to see a video. turned out to be another virus.. sweet. then now i DL and try out the stupid conquer online.. virus again. how nice. now my com has no run command, has no task manager, has no ENGLISH language and has no internet connection. sweet.

was hoping the net would survive.. at least finish downloading Early Edition before reformatting. guess thats not an option anymore now.

soccer today was boring. too little people today. burst another two blisters. but on pain strangely.

man i overslept 2 days ago and missed out a lot of stuff for my bro's IS enrolment. damn. let him down sobs. me sucks. and i forgot to check his library books due date. now its overdue. man i suck as a bro. haizzzzzzz....... I'MA LETDOWN SOBS. and i use to get furious when people call me useless. heh.. now i realize i really am LOL.

damn i'm so irritated by some people. they don't watch F1, have no knowledge of F1, and yet when F1 comes to singapore, they suddenly become so smart and excited. read a blog just now.

"i've never watched F1 before, but i support Hamilton. i'm sure he will win because he was the champion before. he has a lot of experience."

HELLO? oi oi fuker, hamilton never won driver's title before.. he started last season which means... not much experience yet. stupid fuk.

good thing F1 tickets to the grandstands are priced at $1K per head. if not yalams and other trouble makers can go down to the tracks and cause problems. singapore shouldn't host F1. just not right. and what the FUKING hell... they want to play marikita just before the race start. fuk you la waste time and what, as if marikita very nice...

i've enjoyed extreme freedom for the past week or 2. i must say it is very... addicting. mom's coming home. thats great! but that spells the end of total freedom. but oh well.

i've been listening english rock recently. lol. it seldom happens. i don't dig english songs at all most of the time. MCR and The Rasmus songs are nice. though somewhat meaningless, the tunes and beats are great. thats why i like them, as i like my japanese songs. i don't get no balls. but they just sound way too good. but i guess it would be nice if i understood what they were singing. hahaha..

i've been away from this blog for a while, and there are probably no readers anymore. but whatever.. so heres what i did for the past week. was a great week. away from the monotony of all others.

went to play pool on monday with Ben Tan/Lee, Jimi and Edwin. pool fest it was. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. was enjoyable, funny as it is, i didnt get tired of it. probably due to the fact that i haven't had a shot on the cue ball for a pretty long time. edwin came over later that night for some TDs and other games and crashed over.

training on tuesday. didnt fence at all, just went there, put on my shoes and talk. damn, i'm not going to bring my stuff next week. heavy shit.

went to edwin's house for table tennis in the evening on wednesday with davin marcus and joe. was really fun. didnt know hitting balls across a table could be so... exciting? went for dinner at pasir panjang junction. edwin drove me home to pick up my bro's laptop and DS. then went to pick davin up at his place and went to edwin's again for some overnight gaming. some unfortunate turn of events in the end and we hardly played much lol.

slept way into thursday at edwin's.. after some kfc at his place, i headed home... without my keys. felt so embarrassed to have edwin drive my keys to me. fuck myself. right, after a shower and some chores, bryce and davin came over. waited for edwin for quite a while before we headed out for a very late dinner. went to geylang for frog porridge. it was really good. but small in servings. 16 bucks bought barely enough for 3 people. after that edwin sent everyone home.

slept till 5 pm again on friday. hung around at home and had dinner. went down to esso to get the bike pumped but the inner tube was ripped. after a lot of delaying, my old bike's tyre was swapped on to my bro's bike. rode out on an already crippled bike. cycled through vivo, suntec and east coast park to reach changi. gruelling it was. i was always falling behind. couldn't go low while climbing hills and couldn't go highest on flat outs. had me pumping mad for lousy speeds. camped at changi budget terminal from around 2am to 6am. then set off for changi village. didn't expect it to be so far away. well it was near. but the route from the terminal was very long. stormed on the way and i literally gave in to fatigue. got a cab and headed for home.. sweet sweet home. took a shower, grabbed a bite and knocked myself out in bed. it was a great ride. but i swear over my dead body i will never ride to changi ever again. unfortunately, this ride made me never want to ride again.. in a way.

it has been an eventful week, thoroughly enjoyed. this is the life (without school) that i really like. everyday is special and enjoyable. unlike spending every single day at home doing the same things day after day after day after day. after poly holidays are over, i swear i will get a job. because after poly holidays, it will be back to the monotonous routines of nothingness if i don't go working.
